Melanie Yu

Well hi there, is my simple greeting. Hi there my name is Melanie Yu and this is what I really want... is what I wished I could say more often. I am a 3rd year film studies student at York University, and my goal in the next few years is to meet some really great people in the FILM industry, learn a thing or a million from them, and begin producing my own films. My favorite genre are comedies and action, preferbly a film with both. And the stylistic feature I wish still existed in every movie I watched was the Old Hollywood glamour.

Enough about my interest, what do I want right now? I am aproaching age 21, and so far I am proud of what I acheived in my personal life. I have gained confidence back from pinning my once called Elephant ears, and I have completed my G lincense here in Ontario. Now that my two major fears have been accomplish, I am in no mood to put aside my schooling and my future career, I need to get down to some serous business if I want to network and make a living for myself. Goal #1, volunteer at TiFF. Check. Goal #2, Job shawdowing. To be completed in the next 2 months. GO.
