Yubely Zolke
Assistant Principal in Indian Trail, NC, US
Over the past 16 years, Yubely Zolke has worked with multiple schools and academic institutions, often in leadership roles, where she has often mentored staff. Yubely Zolke has served as the principal of Waxhaw Elementary School since 2019. Leading the school, she is responsible for staff recruitment and retention, alongside implementing professional development programs.
Ms. Zolke manages a team of 50, alongside a student-base of 550. Before taking on this role, she worked at Benton Heights Elementary School as an assistant principal. While there, Yubely Zolke partnered with the principal to evaluate and supervise teachers while helping to improve their instructional skills. She was also recognized as the local educational authority for the Individualized Education Program during this time and served as Benton Heights’ special needs administrator.
Ms. Zolke has a bachelor’s degree in modern languages, alongside a master’s in teaching English to speakers of other languages. Between earning these degrees, she studied at Rosario University to become a translation and interpretation specialist.
