Yue Shi

Hi! My name is Shi Yue, you probably find it almost impossible to pronounce right? Well don’t worry, you can call me Coco as well!

I am just one of the international students who study IBL at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. However, I believe I am the only Chinese in this study. I grew up in the capital of China, Beijing, whose population is approximately 2 times of the whole Netherlands as a country. So yeah, just like New Yorker, I am a Beijinger, and I am definitely a city girl.

I guess now you know why I chose to study in Rotterdam.

The reason why I jumped out of my comfort zone and came all the way from the other side of the world to study is that I want to see and experience things that are totally different. The atmosphere full of freedom in the Netherlands really caught my attention. I see myself as one of the biggest explorer and traveler, always curious, and always up for new experiences in life. I am ready for living & working internationally, later on, meet more interesting new people, and share our fantastic life stories.
