I have been gaming since the early 80s when my mother first brought home an Atari 2600, Galaga, Q-bert and Dark Chambers. I would sneak in as much gaming time as I could in-between reading the 50+ books I borrowed weekly from the public library and playing street hockey.
My love affair with the written word began with writing short stories outside of my regular school work as a student, and I am now finally getting around to writing my first fantasy novel. When I am not working on my own writing, I am editing/co-writing the Agent of TRACE series with my friend Derek Smith.
My varied work experiences include in-store event planning and special ordering for one branch of a major Canadian bookstore chain, co-owned an anime and manga retail store, and managing a very successful EB Games location in Canada.
I'm also a self-professed Japanophile, foodie, and write about video games in my spare time.
