My name is Bernice( Guo Yumeng),newcomer to Hong Kong, and currently a student journalist in Hong Kong Baptist University.

Journalism has always been my dream, and it's a part of me.

I started to realize I need to make connections with the world and communicate with people when I was in secondary school, but my Chinese made comments to this:"It is dangerous to be a journalist, I don't think you are courageous enough." She insulted me.

But her comment inspired me keep going on. I tried to be an intern in radio, newspaper and news web, and I'm sure I need journalism in my entire life.

Finally I chose Hong Kong, and I has been teaching everything that a journalist should do. I create this blog account aiming to record the ongoing events around me, and share my interviews and opinions to my reader. The blog will witness my efforts on this field.

As a journalist, I will "keep hungry, keep foolish."
