Yumeng Zheng

Hello, everyone. I am Teresa, and my Chinese name is Zheng Yumeng. Zheng(郑) is my last name and Yumeng(雨濛) is my first name which means drizzling rains in Chinese. My father came up with this name because there was a light rain falling on the day I was born. It's kind of romantic.

I come from Hebei provinve, mainland China. I graduated from the University of International Relations in Beijing and my major was English with the translation direction. As a girl who was born and raised in the North, I feel great to come to Hong Kong to persue my studies and experience a different life.

Snice I came to Hongkong to start my postgraduate study upon my graduation from UIR, I don't have much work experience. All the jobs I did were part-time jobs and internships, but most of them were related to English teaching because I am very interested in it. For example, from June to September in 2014, I taught POP Kids English in New Oriental, a faumous educational institution in China. In the future I hope to become an English teacher. So in order to make myself better qualified, I come here to improve myself.

In my spare time, I like playing the piano, playing computers games and jogging. My favourite piano music is 'Annie's Wonderland' and my favourite computer game is LOL. Also, I am a real foodie, eating what I like can give me a good mood, haha~
