Curiously YungKay was the churchy brought up kind of kid that basically spent most of his childhood not allowed to listen to secular music, so one begins to wonder how he uncovered this amazing talent of his.

Hopefully the same sort of spirit that will make the promising equal ultimately as special as it seems. ...It’s the kind of upbeat approach and sense of humor that kept him happily charging along in the game despite what its takes ...he strives to push the boundaries of his music in order to create an experience that listeners haven't felt .This is not only because he believes that he should be bringing something to his medium and his industry but because he thinks innovation is a necessity to reach his audiences.

Projects

- He first gained attention when he dropped his first single ever" abilities" which featured one of Nigeria finest rapper kslimsylva it was released 16th November 2013. A follow-up video on the 9th of May 2014 this was what got him signed to a label

- His second single ajebutter was released under his new label on the 28 of August 2014 following it up with a mind blowing video which was shot in south African, so full of concept and nice story lines the video was released on the 20 of November 2014. The song gained massive airplay on all top radio and television stations across Nigeria and a few abroad

- Yungkays third single Galala was a bring back of a getto dance known as galala it was full of sweet melodies and gained waves

- Yungkay's single woske on audio and video is still in ur face
