Yunus Vally has worked as a creative/art director in television, film, print, art, photography, political archivist, heritage, social communication and research since 1985. he has over twenty years experience in Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, amongst others.

In 2014/15, he researched and directed “Art, Democracy & the City” a 10 minute documentary, for the City of Johannesburg.

He has developed and designed award winning television, heritage, publications & cultural projects for various oragnisations and television brands, i.e INPUT,

Gaz’lam, Sophiatown, Take 5, Zola 7, Scamto Groundbreakers, The Molo Show, LoveLife, Takalani Sesame, The Wedding Show, Get Real., etc.

He also researched, collected, archived and curated three exhibitions; 150-memory, struggle & democracy, Mandela Luthuli exhibition and the MIC 20th celebration exhibit.

He directed his own documentary for the BBC/SABC 1 “ The Glow of White Women” which travelled and won numerous awards internationally ( Berlinale, HotDocs - Canada, IFFLA - Los Angeles, and others)
