Calypso

The Greek mythological Calypso is described as a lovely girl, willing to help everyone. She is the daughter of Atlas, Lord of Endurance and strength, and Tethys, also a Titan and sea goddess. She is described as being a kind and sweet 'minorgoddess'. She lives in an island called "Ogygia" (pronounced oh-gee-gee-ah).

She was cursed to stay on Ogygia forever by the gods,because she supported her father in the First OlympianWar. She is also cursed to have heroes wash up on her island,wounded or hurt for her to heal. However, the people that landed on her islandwere always people she would fall in love with, but they would never be able tostay with her. For example like, Percy Jackson. But in the end the curse is broken because Leo Valdez (who also got into the Ogygia) promise her that he will return and help her to escape, which he succeed.
