Yvette Richardson

Being raised by her oldest sister from the time she was in 8th grade until a graduating senior, Yvette Richardson beat the odds. She's a 32 year old working mom, sister, confidant and currently a NCCU student. She plans to receive a Social Work degree first and then plans to return back to school to school to finish up a Nursing degree. She plans to help society with mental, physical and social problems. As she continues her journey at NCCU she desires to volunteer around campus and get more insight about the college life. She's a Certified Nursing Assistant at Duke Hospital and also Certified Medical Administrative Assistant. She loves taking care of people in need . She plans to use her skills to better the world and leave an imprint in society. As she continues to further her education at NCCU she plans to become more social among strangers and embrace all that NCCU has to offer. As she will be the first of her siblings to obtain a college degree.

In her spare time she likes to travel, sing, dance and spend time with family and friends. Her two daughters are her LIFE. She does everything she can for them, and also tries to instill great morals in them everyday. Her future plans are to obtain a job working in the hospital as a Social Worker.
