Yvette Summers is an international show host, author, producer, percussionist, dancer, vocalist, wellness facilitator, inspirational speaker, and cultural ambassador whose work has inspired audiences around the world.

She is the author of Homecoming: Beyond the System – Who I Was Before the World Told Me Who to Be, a powerful journey of self-discovery that encourages readers to reconnect with their authentic selves and live with purpose, freedom, and joy. She also published a coffee table book celebrating the smiles she collected while traveling the world, capturing the beauty of human connection across cultures.

Throughout her career, Yvette has collaborated with Grammy Award-winning artists including Herbie Hancock, Bill Summers, George Clinton, Los Hombres Calientes, and Luis Eric Gonzalez, with whom she recorded the acclaimed album Live at the Jazz Bakery. Her performances blend the musical traditions of Cuba, Africa, Brazil, jazz, and funk into an unforgettable cultural experience.

After making Johannesburg, South Africa, her home for several years, Yvette dedicated herself to humanitarian work, visiting orphanages and primary schools to inspire children to believe in themselves, dream fearlessly, and smile proudly.

As a producer, she has created impactful cultural events, including a fundraiser for the Hugh Masekela Heritage Foundation featuring Ringo Madlingozi, accompanied by her photographic exhibition celebrating the smiles of South Africa’s legends. She also partnered with the Soweto International Jazz Festival to produce A Taste of New Orleans: Cuisine & Music, bringing together international artists through music, food, and culture.

When the global pandemic brought one of her largest international projects to a halt, Yvette embraced a new creative path. Her passion for healthy global cuisine inspired her television series, Shaking It Up with Yvette Summers on TasteOnTV.com, where she explores food, music, culture, and wellness from around the world. She also launched the podcast Living an Organic & Orgasmic Life, featuring conversations with artists, entrepreneurs, and changemakers who inspire others to live authentically.

Today, Yvette creates transformational experiences through music, rhythm, movement, mindfulness, storytelling, and wellness. From luxury retreats and corporate wellness programs to keynote speaking, workshops, and international performances, her mission is to help people reconnect with themselves, embrace joy, and remember who they truly are.

Yvette is currently developing international wellness retreats, television projects, educational programs, and cultural experiences that unite wellness, music, travel, food, and personal transformation.

She welcomes opportunities to collaborate with investors, sponsors, luxury resorts, tourism organizations, corporations, and visionary partners who believe in creating experiences that inspire, heal, and connect people around the world.

“The world doesn’t need more division—it needs more connection. One smile, one conversation, one rhythm, one experience at a time.” – Yvette Summers
