Hi, my name is Yvonne Awosanya-Adefajo, but everyone calls me Yv.

I’m married to my best friend, and partner in love, life, business, and ministry, Yemi, and we have been blessed with three adorable kids– Yolanda-Joy, Yelinah-Praise and Yanni-Awesome.

I love to tell great stories – stories that captivate, stories that are real, stories that connect, and stories that heal. I believe every story is a peephole into a world where valuable life-transforming lessons can be learned, and where people can become better versions of themselves. I believe stories are a combination of the right words, and have an astounding potential to positively transform, pull from the brink of death, create success ripples, and push individuals into fulfilling their God-given destinies.

My journey as a writer began with a toddler’s meaningless wall crayon-scribble, in my mother’s words, which has culminated decades later into a mastered craft of storytelling. I am excited at how far that journey has taken me. It has taken me from print, to the exciting world of television; it has brought me before majestic thrones of kings and royalty, and to the humbling mud houses in South Western Nigeria; that journey has led me right here, where I can be a blessing to you!

Jesus found me over twenty years ago, at a point where my life seemed like a big question mark. Becoming born-again was a life-changing experience, one where I found healing, joy, and peace. From that point onward, I made a resolution to use everything I have – my voice, my words, my life – to shine the light of Christ. This decision has shaped the way I see the world and has formed a basis for the kind of stories I tell.

I am a Youth Mentor, Leader, and President of Scholamania Readers and Writers Club, an organization that is focused on raising next-generation leaders through cultivating a reading and creative writing culture. The club organised book reading events in over 250 secondary schools in Lagos and Ogun States.

I am the Content Director at WiMo Publishers, and I work with budding and established authors, to help birth their publishing dreams. I also run writing workshops in Yv's Scribe Tribe.

My husband and I run Zero-To-Five ministries, a platform for providing married couples with godly foundations and resources to flourish in their marriages.
