Yvonne Gibson

Yvonne Gibson is a Veterinary Assistant at Compassion Animal Hospital in Bealeton, Virginia. Her responsibilities include assisting the veterinarian during appointments by drawing up vaccines, restraining the animal in order to prevent injury to the patient or doctor, and filling prescriptions prescribed by the doctor. Yvonne began working at Compassion Animal Hospital in January of 2011. This past summer, Compassion Animal Hospital expanded and opened a second office, Catlett Animal Hospital. During Catlett Animal Hospital’s first few weeks of operation, she worked as the only veterinarian assistant and, sometimes, as the receptionist as well. These actions led Yvonne to be one of two recipients for a special recognition dinner for their undying effort to ensure the office was operational before the deadline.
