I am a 70-year-old "young" African-American female, married to the "love of my life" for the past fifty-two-years. This marriage blessed me with three children and five grandchildren. In 2010, we retired and now spend our winters in Florida and summers in Wisconsin. Finally, I now have time to focus on "ME." The creation of theSeasonedSistah2 Blog is to give a voice to my individuality separate from business owner, grandmother, mother, and wife.

Neither a writer nor blogger. I enter the world of blogosphering with a lot of anxiety Yet, my urge to utiilize the "written word" to express my views, thoughts, achievements, likes, dislikes, progress, preferences, so on and so forth -- outweighs the trepidation and fear.

In this final season of my life, let ME be ME without the worry of anyone else's approval or disapproval. SeasonedSistah2 will be a testimony of ME.
