Zandile Simama is not one of those what you see is what you get kinda girl because people get amazed when I sing or recite a poem, even when I speak( they'll be like she can speak English), I'm from Port Elizabeth Eastern Province in a location called Soweto on - Sea(no kidding) I grew up there and I now stay in Bayview Cape Town... I am a qualified Boilermaker and a semi skilled welder (most people don't even believe that as well) but now I work as Quality Assurance assistant at a ship building company... from cutting trees up on the table mountain to going to Marion Island as a Environmental control officer for 14 months( great experience), worked as a MIG welder building trailers, worked at Abseil Africa then scored At Nautic Africa where I am now( where I sang people donated money...well I was singing to fundraise for my church and it was awesome!)

All that I'm doing don't beat the passion I have for music, performing and writing, I grew up singing ( I was in a gospel group, sang at church and I was in a jazz band, was in a hip hop group and in a band called Emancipation bringing sould, R&B and hip hop together), dancing and playing sport( netball, soccer, and basketball) if I don't ever succeed as a musician the plan is to teach kids, I have started already in my church in Khayelitsha

I'm a praise worship team leader and I teach sunday school singing and dancing and I love it, I've also been at a location called in Kraaifontein to perform few times and I ecourage the younger kids even guys my age and sometimes criticise them and tell them where they can improve and they receive it very well, so I'm also looking it to that where I will go around the locations encouraging young kids who sing dance and act, I'm also in a mentorship program at Andy Dasoul music business mentorship program which started in April 2015 (AWESOME PROGRAM) and so far we've had Mapumba as a guest speaker and Regardt Nel.
