Zaahirah Atchia

Ms. Zaahirah Atchia, originally from Mauritius in Africa, is an award-winning leader in transformation and innovation. She has led Radio-Canada in Ontario since December 2021, becoming the first woman from a diverse background to hold this position. Recognized for her involvement in the cooperative movement and the French-speaking community, Ms. Atchia also heads the EDI bubble within Regional Media. Under her leadership, a new journalistic bureau was launched in London in September.
