Zabie Khorakiwala

Zabie Khorakiwala is sexual assault specialist and the Violence Prevention Coordinator at the University of California, Irvine.

Having previously served as a Fellow in leadership programming at the American Association of University Women (AAUW), Zabie has led Sexual Assault Crisis consultations and Intervention programs across colleges and universities.

In addition to service grounded in women’s empowerment, in 2010 she co-founded the Young Professionals Society of Orange County—an organization dedicated to networking among Southern California’s brightest budding work force.

Zabie received a B.A. in Psychology and Social Behavior and Education from the University of California, Irvine and did her graduate work in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs from The George Washington University.

In her spare time, Zabie enjoys practicing yoga, taking kickboxing, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
