Hi, I’m Zacharia Chonne Botsane . I’m a Graduate at the University of Johannesburg with a BEng Tech in Physical metallurgy. I live in Gauteng, West Rand, Simunye. I am eager and open to learn and apply my current knowledge of metallurgy, such as microstructural analysis, hardness testing, tensile testing, metallography, SEM analysis, XRD analysis, Powder metallurgy, heat treatment, data interpretation and analysis. I have a strong ability for research and academic report writting.

During my time at the University of Johannesburg, I worked on my final year project aimed at recycling E-waste along with improving the hardess and corrosive behavior by applying heat-treatment, worked into converting them into super alloys. The E-waste which was composed of Tin(Sn), Lead(Pd), Copper(Cu) an it was incorporated into a multi-component super alloy composed of Inconell B3, C237, and Hstelloy.

I then had the privilege of working as a researcher on the super alloys on the Tribological and Corrosive behavior of the developed alloys to a now published article.
