Zachary Addison
Apprentice in New Orleans, LA
New Orleans, Louisiana resident Zachary Addison recently joined the staff of Boudreaux Builders. Zachary Addison is learning the details of managing custom construction of commercial, residential, and other properties directly from the company owner.
Prior to entering the construction industry, Mr. Addison spent over 10 years working in the restaurant sector. His introduction to foodservice was at Mr. Gatti’s Pizza in Lake Charles. He worked everywhere in the restaurant, from the kitchen and the game room to the salad bar and the cashier’s station. In addition, he held supervisory duties in the manager’s absence.
His skills in logical thinking and Spanish previously earned Mr. Addison a position as the manager of Ninfa’s Mexican Restaurant in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1998. Having started by busing tables, in three years he was running the business, having twice been named a top ten employee.
As an undergraduate at Louisiana State University (LSU), Mr. Addison earned dean’s list honors as he earned a BS in mathematics, with a chemistry minor. Prior to LSU, he honed his analytical abilities at the Louisiana School of Math, Science, and The Arts.
He volunteers for several charitable organizations, such as the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, the Plaquemines Animal Welfare Society, and St. Andrew the Apostle School. Having coached basketball, Mr. Addison follows the New Orleans Pelicans and Saints and LSU football.
