Zachary Cavazos

Zachary Cavazos is a first year undergraduate student at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. He is set to graduate in 2018 with a degree in accounting.
What drew Zachary to busniess and accounting was his uncle from mexico, Eziquiel, who is a certified CPA and owns his own mini accountning firm in Monterrey. When he came down to visit every summer he would share stories with Zachary about how hard he worked to get where he was, inspiring him to pursue a degree in accounting. Zachary has always been drawn to math and numbers, so pursuing a degree in accounting seemed like the most logical path for him to follow.
When Zachary is not hard at work studying or doing homework, you can find him participating in other student organizations such as the Hispanic Student Society.
