Zachary Plottel
Zachary Plottel possesses 15 years of experience in the areas of fire service, public safety, and emergency health services. He currently serves as the Director of Operations at the law firm of Harris & Plottel, LLP. Since January 2011, Mr. Plottel has supervised matters relating to operations management, marketing, human resources, accounts receivables and payables, and risk management, among others. Zachary Plottel also serves as the founder of Plottel Property Management. Since August 2001, he has provided services such as business and residential property management, acquisition, redevelopment, and eco-friendly construction.
Zachary Plottel is also a Project Manager for Scardina Builders, a construction company. In addition to these roles, Zachary Plottel works as a Fire Apparatus Engineer and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with the City of Chico Fire Department. Since joining the department in 2000, Mr. Plottel has dealt with fires, hazardous materials, car accidents, and medical crises. In addition, Zachary Plottel operates fire apparatus during standard and emergency procedures, as well as public safety services. Previously, he functioned as a Fire Apparatus Engineer with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) for four years. He also volunteered at Butte County Volunteer Fire Department Company 42 for five years. Zachary Plottel is a Board Member of the International Association of Fire Fighters Union, Local 2734, a member of the North Valley Property Owners Association and the Alzheimers Association.
Zachary Plottel obtained his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Spanish from California State University, Chico in 1999. Previously, Mr. Plottel completed his Associate of Arts in Social and Behavioral Science in 1995 and an Associate of Science in Fire Science in 1997 at Butte College.
