Zach Deckler

My name is Zach and I am currently a Junior at UMass Amherst attaining a dual degree in Sport Management and Finance. I could not just settle for one degree while pursuing my education at UMass because I am constantly yearning to learn something new. Whether it be a policy of Sport Sponsorship Sales being presented on the whiteboard or life advice from the classmate sitting next to me, I am always looking to end my day having learned something new. So far in my college experience I have found that the more I attempt to learn in classrooms and in books, the more I learn from the people I surround myself with. All of whom share my passion for going above and beyond to constantly learn something new that we can apply to the world of business and entrepreneurship.

I hope to own my own business one day and I feel that staying open minded when choosing courses and interacting with others will give me the tools I will need to accomplish my goal of building a business see its positive impact on others.
