Zach Stiefel
Hello,
If you are on this site, you most likely want to know everything about me. Good news, you have found the right place. Below you will find out about who I am and who I will continue to strive to be.
My time at Oklahoma State has taught me, and is continuing to teach me some great qualities. I want to be a man of good character, a student of fair ability with ambitious purposes. I want to have a congenial disposition, and I want to be possessed of good morals. I hope to have a high sense of honor and a deep sense of personal responsibility. These are all things I will continue to strive for in my college and professional careers.
I spent the first two summers of my college career as a counselor at a Christian summer camp called Pine Cove. This has been the best and most challenging thing I've ever done. I can honestly say that I would not be the person I am today without this camp. I figured you should know about this if you truly want to get to know me.
I will be graduating in May from OSU. I will get a degree in Multimedia Journalism. Candidly, I chose this major because I liked to play with video cameras and I like speaking into microphones. Luckily, I came to love what I study. It quickly transformed from something where I get to play with cool things to a passion of mine. Now that I've been doing it for four years, I wouldn't have traded them for anything.
Since graduation is lurking, I figure I should talk about some of the things I have been a part of at OSU. First of all, I absolutely love Stillwater (or Chillwater or Thrillwater, whatever you would like to call it.). My time here has been some of the most formative times of my life. I have been able to serve in a couple of campus ministries around campus. I was a leader in K-life, where I got to lead a small group of seventh grade guys. I was asked on to the leadership team of Overflow. I spent one semester as the Compass Team leader, and I was later asked to run the whole ministry. This has been one of the best things I've done in college. I have the privilege of leading a ministry that brings in somewhere between 750 and 1,200 students a week. These have been some of the more humbling parts of my college life, these organizations have also helped develop me into a leader.
The pursuit of God and knowledge have been the driving forces in my life thus far. I hope to continue to pursue both of these things in my professional career as well. I feel like th
