Zack Miller

Zack Miller is the Managing Director at Hatch, a Norfolk based accelerator. Hatch was created through a partnership with the City of Norfolk and several local businesses. The idea behind Hatch is to support the growth of companies in the Silicon Anchor area and serve as an example to entrepreneurs both in and out of the region that there is a base of strong support and opportunities to start and grow a business in Silicon Anchor area.

Zack is also involved in the Norfolk area's public initiative to make Norfolk and the Silicon Anchor area a magnet for talented young professionals through the Greater Norfolk Corporation's Brain Gain Task Force. In addition, he is one of the regional leaders of Startup Virginia under the Startup America Partnership and created Start Norfolk, an initiative to encourage startup companies, with the hopes that nascent entrepreneurs could develop a business and create jobs in Hampton Roads. Zack was instrumental in connecting the first Norfolk area civic Hackfest in partnership with Code for America, Hampton Roads Transit, and City of Norfolk Department of Cultural Affairs.
