Mary Leandra

The founder of Zaftig Diva, Mary Ford was born and raised in South Texas and later relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2010. She is a mother of five beautiful and active children who demand all of her time.

Originally geared for a career in nursing; the lack of sexy, classy and comfortable plus size clothing, amongst other things inspired her to start her own business.

Mary, has a vision for all women to grow and love themselves for who they are and NOT how much they weigh by providing apparel and other services to help women live by our tagline, "F.E.W" (Flaunt, Embrace and Wear your curves with confidence).

Zaftig Diva is a movement that promotes self-perception, acceptance and confidence in curvy women around the world without seeking the approval of others. Through its several divisions including but not limited to Zaftig Fashions, Zaftig Fashion Consulting and the non-profit organization, Divas Daring to be Different, Zaftig Diva seek to reach the curvy community in a way unlike any other plus size organization has.

Zaftig Diva, (Zaftig meaning a pleasantly plump figure; full-bodied or well proportioned woman), encourges women to release the inner Diva from within.

In addition, Zaftig Diva is a channel for women who lack self-confidence to become one with themselves, gain confidence and know their self worth. Every woman should feel sexy and confident regardless of size.
