Zahi Abou Chacra
Medical Director and Reconstructive Surgeon in Montreal, Quebec
Dr. Zahi Abou Chacra, M.D., is a facial plastics and reconstructive surgeon. Since November 2022, he has served as the Medical Director and Principal Surgeon at Clinique 7, a boutique cosmetic surgery clinic in Montreal, Quebec, where he specializes in aesthetic, functional, and revision rhinoplasty. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Chacra attended the McGill University School of Medicine where he studied Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He was awarded the H.S. Burkitt Memorial Prize at McGill for achievement in his chosen branch of medicine.
Upon graduating, Dr. Chacra pursued further training in rhinoplasty and facial plastic surgery in Houston, TX. He is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
In addition to his many medical credentials, Dr. Zahi Abou Chacra also possesses a Master of Business Administration degree from McGill University and from HEC Montréal (École des Hautes Études Commerciales).
In the past, he has taken several administrative positions in the Quebec health care system, including Chief of Service at the Centre Intégré Universitaire de Santé et de Services Sociaux du Nord de l’Ile de Montréal. Dr. Zahi Abou Chacra has also served on the boards of directors of the Integrated Health and Social Services University Network (CIUSSS), as well as the Association des Conseils de Médecins, Dentistes et Pharmaciens du Québec (ACMDPQ).
When not tending to his duties at Clinique 7, Dr. Zahi Abou Chacra also acts as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Montreal.
