Zahid Asghar

Hi! I’m currently working as a faculty member at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. I have also served as senior faculty at National Institute of Banking and Finance, State Bank of Pakistan, Islamabad.My areas of research mainly include Applied econometrics, Applied Statistics, Food Security, Economy of cities, Development Economics, Data Analysis and Data consultancy. I did my master in Statistics from BZU, Multan and PhD in economics from Pakistan Institute of Development Economics. I have published in Economics, Applied Statistics and Applied Econometrics journals.
My passion is teaching, research and data consultancy.I have deep interest in issue of food security. Making cities as engine of growth is another area which I feel need lot of attention and this area has so far remained unexplored at least in Pakistan.

I provide my services as a data analyst and research designer to researchers, professionals particularly medical doctors,students in their dissertations, firms, NGOs etc.
