Zahir Hassan, Chairman, Power Group

Qualified to PhD in Marketing Mr. Hassan has been involved in the advertising, printing and publishing industry in the United Arab Emirates for the last 27 years.

He is the Chairman of Power Group, which is a diversified business group with different profiles of printing, publishing, advertising and telecom industry.

In addition to his role as Chairman of Power Group Mr. Hassan has been actively involved in the business fraternity of Dubai as a founding member of Printing & Publishing Group of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He currently holds the position of Vice Chairman of the group.

He has to his credit writing articles covering industry specific subjects and subjects that are unique to regional market as a whole, in newspapers and magazines that are published in The UAE and GCC. He has been in the forefront of activities conducted by printing and publishing group to enhance the professionalism of the industry by involving in seminars and workshops that were organized for industry professionals. Mr. Hassan also is the member of IBPC (Indian Business and Professional Council), a social and business networking group exclusively representing Indian professional and business fraternity of the UAE.

His leadership qualities have won recognitions in the form of winning quality and innovative awards from Dubai Chamber. From its founding year Power Print, part of Power Group, has been winning awards as quality and innovative printing company for its outstanding quality and services. Today, under his leadership, Power Group holds the position as one of the leading service providers in the UAE.
