Zahra Jamshed
I'm a Film-kid wannabe, alternative music junkie, South Park enthusiast and Art-paralysis survivor.
If you're still reading this then I guess that means I've successfully tricked you in to thinking I have something moderately interesting to say - that, or you're hoping I'll drop a funny South Park quotation that'll make you giggle a bit. My background story is pretty interesting; I was born in Pakistan, raised in Hong Kong, and have recently graduated from Queen's University in Kingston, ON - and am now trudging through the struggles of self-exploration known as the Post-University "Real World".
At Queen's, my daily excitement stretched past the books and lecture halls and spilled in to the extra-curricular artistic movements that surrounded me. Having gotten involved in the community as a videographer and promoter, I kick-started my own underground Arts Publication, known to the masses as "Muse Magazine at Queen's". The escape from "Art Paralysis" didn't stop there, and I am now hoping to return to my home of colour, texture and art that I once indulged in through the world of Film & Media.
