Zainab Abdul-Mumin Dalhu

Zainab Abdul-Mumin Dalhu is a driven and service-oriented medical student at the University for Development Studies.

She is an active member of the UDS MSA and has consistently positioned herself at the intersection of health, leadership, and social change.

She has served as the General Assembly representative of her class, General Secretary of the UDS MSA, General Secretary of the Muslim Medics Society, representative of the UDS MSA at the UDS SRC General Assembly and

a member of the MSA health education crew.

At the national level, Zainab currently serves as the Partnerships Coordinator of SCOPH-FGMSA, Public Relations and communications officer of FAMSA-SCOPE and the Communications Officer of SCOME-FGMSA where she actively shapes conversations around medical education and public health advocacy. She was also a member of the planning committee of the FGMSA Health Queen Pageantry for 2025.

In 2026, at the Mid Year Congress of FGMSA, Zainab served the mother association of all medical students in Ghana as the Returning Officer of the plenary.

Her passion for public health and community service and impact is evident in her extensive volunteerism and organizational involvement. She is an active volunteer with organizations such as the Spark Educational Equity Foundation, Lavish Aid Foundation, Savana Signatures and several community-based initiatives focused on youth empowerment, education, and health promotion.

She is also a trained Peer Support Service Provider (PSSP) in Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) by the Ghana Health Service, where she educates, provides peer counseling and appropriately refers young people to healthcare professionals helping bridge the gap between young people and essential healthcare services.
