Zakaria Mahmood
Chief Executive Officer in London, United Kingdom
Zakaria Mahmood is an innovative entrepreneur. Once a professional cricketer, Zakaria changed his focus to create a revolutionary technological platform that connects international students, institutions and other agents in an efficient, safe and effective way.
The company, INTCAS, where Zakaria is the founder and current CEO, offers a solution to many international students who have struggled to understand the complex pathway to attaining their goal. In addition, the platform offers a viable solution for institutions and other agents to manage applications while mitigating risks and also supporting students.
Zakaria has a strong professional background that led him to succeed as an entrepreneur. After completing his schooling, where he achieved degrees in computer science and business administration, Zakaria worked in management consulting. Despite his busy schedule as a CEO, Zakaria makes time for volunteer work. He serves as an advisor to board members of the Shahid Afridi Foundation. In addition, he’s been involved at the One Third Food Bank since 2014, where he regularly serves food to local community members in need.
When he’s able, Zakaria enjoys playing table tennis, cricket and squash. Reading, watching movies, socialising, cooking and travelling are among his favourite activities.
