Hello, my name is zakkary black. I grew up in a small, east texas town. Ever since I was a kid I loved the idea of movies. I loved the magic that they brought to me as a child. As I grew up I still had this love for film, and in middle school I finally got a camera. I made video after video with my friends loving every second of it. As i rolled into high school I still played around with making videos but didnt do it near as much as i did when i was a child.It wasnt until my senior year that I realized what I wanted to do with my life. My senior year I enrolled in a class called animation. In this class we were given the task of making videos and learning how to edit them on final cut pro. This brought me back to my love of film. Then it all came together. We had a guest speaker come to our school, and this guest speaker just so happened to be a representative from a film school in Florida called Full Sail University. Thats when I decided what to do with my life. I graduated from highschool in 2010 and went on to go to Full Sail in 2011 after a year of community college. I spent two years going Full Sail and graduated with a bachelors of science in film. After spending these two years at Full Sail i knew this is what i truly wanted to do. I would like to continue my career helping filmmakers create and explore.
