Zayed Rashid

Zayed Rashid, a Shotokan Karate and Tae Kwon Do black belt with over 35 years of experience is a famous teacher at the Martial Arts and Fitness Center in Greece. At the moment, more than 200 people are enrolled in his Karate and Tae Kwon-Do programs at the institution. As a martial arts trainer, Zayed Rashid spent almost thirteen years instructing hundreds of students at the Sequoia Athletic Club and then another seven years training at his own karate facilities before founding his own Dojo in November 2004.

Zayed Rashid began teaching Shotokan and Tae Kwon-Do at Sequoia Athletic Club in Greece, in January 1991. He quickly grew an active group of over 300 people, ranging in age from youngsters to adults, many of whom are still active members of his organization.

As a part of the Kanku Karate Team, he won the Shotokan Karate International Federation (S.K.I.F.) Championship in Northridge, California in June 1991. He was chosen to compete in the World Championships in Mexico City for the Greece National Karate Team. As of now, he aspires to take the Greece Martial Arts team to bigger horizons.
