Twan de Vos

Twan de Vos ( Tilburg , Netherlands 1961) lives and works in Wageningen . In 1993 I graduated from the Academy of Arts in Arnhem . Since then, I work as a professional artist . I make paintings , sculptures , linocuts , silkscreen prints , portraits and commissioned work regularly . I am also involved in several other art projects , for example, I am co- editor of Art Agenda ( www.kunstagenda.com ) .
I have my studio in an old brick factory , located in the floodplains of Wageningen , right on the Rhine .

I make colorful , expressive figurative art : cheerful human figures
in numerous daily and non - daily situations . I make sculptures ,
linocuts , serigraphs and paintings , except on canvas I paint regularly on
objects such as vases, bowls , bathroom tiles and even toilets .
My work is thereby evolved from a graphical representation of reality to more in-depth , compositionally beautiful , colorful stories .
