Zehao Wu

My name is Zehao (Andy) Wu. I am from Shanghai, China. I am a freshman and my major is Insurance and Risk Management.

I went to high school in Maine for two years. It is a private boarding school at Dover-Foxcroft, ME, north of Bangor. I chose there to finish high school because I like snow very much! However, after two years being there, I was too much with ice, so I decided to come to UGA, come to the south.

I like playing sports, watching movies and traveling. I play basketball sometime. Dirk Nowitzki and Mavericks are my favorite basketball player and team in NBA. In last two years, I have been to many cities in America, such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, New York, Boston, Orlando and Atlanta. I experience the different culture between countries and countries, cities and cities. My next place to travel is Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. As we all know, Brazil is a wonderful and ebullient place. Its samba and soccer are very famous.

The most important thing in my life is cello. It has accompanied me about twelve years. In these twelve years, my house moved; my school changed; my girlfriend left; my great grand father died, but my passion for cello is still there. She sings beside you when you grow up; she makes you revel when you enjoy her voice; she teaches you how to appreciate music. She has four hairs (strings) with different power inside them. A and D strings are the most important strings, containing passion inside it. G and C strings express her sorrow and dignity. That is the passion that attracts me all time.
