Hi!

My name is Zeyang(Jocelyn) Yan.

I came to the United States in 2007 as an international student from Beijing, China. After the completion of my high school degree in Seattle, Washington, I came to the College of William and Mary to pursue a Bachelor Degree of Economics and Film&Media Studies.

I have huge enthusiasm in media production, and have worked both in television station and entertainment company. My future goal is to work in the media industry with a focus on media market's international development.

My experience teaching English in rural area of China also led to my goal of working in NGOs especially on children's poverty, hunger, and education issues. I am currently a Communications intern at InterAction, an alliance organization in Washington, D.C. of nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) with 190-plus members work around the world.

This blog is consisted of the events I have attended and the work I have done while I'm studying and working in DC. It is also for my New Media course at the College of William and Mary.
