Hi, I’m Joseph. I’m a student living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The purpose of this page is to spread awareness of Fake News.

A growing number of people are distrusting the media, and instead trusting sources that can't be verified. Trolls, the alt-right, and even foreign governments are taking advantage of this growing distrust in legitimate media to create hatred to those on the other side. It is because of Fake News that Donald Trump was elected President of the United States in 2016, as well as the British decision to withdraw from the European Union.

As a person who has grown up with the Internet being a huge source of information, it's important to realize that the Internet is a secondary source of information, not a primary one. Anyone can lie on the Internet, and spreading awareness that this is the case is the mission of this campaign.
