I am what I am because of my Lord, my wife and family, my community, and the choices I have made.

Raised to believe in dependence upon Christ. I have combined faith, hard work, a good education and lots of grace to build my life.

I have had to work to pay my way through college, maintaining one or two part time jobs during terms and a full time employment during summers. I attended 3 universities over 7 years in order to get a well-rounded, quality education that I could afford.

I kept busy with extracurricular activities and grew in my understanding of people, culture and leadership. I volunteered with the Baptist Collegiate Ministries, International Friendship Outreach, and Back to the Basics International Student Outreach in order to use and develop my gifts and talents.

I also sought out good mentors and desciplers and have been blessed with an abundance. They have taught me a lot about life and community. To them I am very grateful.

I met the love of my life and began a career in teaching. We now have 3 kids and enjoy life in our home in Conway, AR.

After earning a masters degree and serving 11 years in public education, I am turning my side jobs into full time work. I now work in the home maintenance, home remodeling, and landscaping industry. I believe in doing work in a way that truly makes a difference in the lives of others.

I do not know what the future will hold, but I know Who holds the future. I am excited and cannot wait to see where God will take me, and my family, next. :)
