Qi Zhao

你好，我是赵琪，目前在南加州大学 TESOL 专业攻读文学硕士学位。同时，我现在是GameDesk的一名实习生。我对语言学习和教学有着浓厚的兴趣。我希望将来自己成为一名合格的中英双语教师，并在教学实践中引入对科技的应用，从而在课堂上为学生创造出更多精彩的学习机会。在我看来，语言课堂是充满神奇的地方。它所承载的内容远远超越语言本身， 而更是一个让学生了解文化，认知身份，甚至是再次认识自己的平台。我们所用的语言在向外界时时刻刻传递着“我是谁”的讯号。我很珍惜，也很渴望更多有关教育领域的实践机会和思想交流。

Hi, This is Qi Zhao (Wendy). I am currently studying in MAT-TESOL program at University of Southern California (USC). Now, I also work as an Educational Research Intern at GameDesk. I have great interest in language learning and teaching. In the future, I hope I can be a capable bilingual teacher in the language classroom and also hope that I can bring new technologies into my class to create more wonderful learning opportunities for my students. Language classroom is magic to me. It’s far more than about teaching students how to use a language tool. Rather, it’s a platform where the teacher helps students gain an insight into a culture, into an identity and even into themselves. The language we use can explain who we are. I appreciate the chances of sharing and practicing in the field of education.
