Zhiyang Chen

I had been studying Marketing Management as a master student at Tongji University in Shanghai, China. Now I am studying International Design Business Management (hereafter IDBM) at Aalto University, Finland as a double-degree student.

I had worked as a Teaching Assistant for an American professor, a sales intern, a Client Manager intern and a consultant intern in school years. In addition, I developed strong leadership and teamwork skills through running two student clubs, launching my own research project and taking part in an industry project of IDBM. At the same time, I am also very detailed-oriented in conducting tasks. I am proud of my problem solving skills and the tenacity I showed when I was faced with tough challenges.

My interests lie in market research, sales and consultancy services. On the basis of a strong business sense, I equips myself with a Design Thinking mindset under IDBM, an interdisciplinary program integrating Business, Design and Technology students.

Last but not least, I am proud of the excellent writing skills I had developed through the preparation for GMAT, in which I scored 740, the top 3% level. And I show great passion in learning English. I have cherished every moment of being immersed in the English environment while I am studying in Finland and have tried my best to absorb new expressions from teachers and peer students.
