I am currently a student at the University of California, Berkeley graduating in December 2013. I aspire to start my career in tech and media because that is where you can make anything can happen.

As a first generation Chinese American, I am also deeply passionate about learning about my own heritage, and that of others. After my experience at the Center for Asian American Media for the annual CAAMFEST(largest Asian American film festival in the northern hemisphere), SingTao Radio Station (one of the most influential Chinese broadcasting stations in the world), and competing in the Miss Chinatown USA Pageant (the nation's oldest pageant, yes, older than Miss USA!), I have learned more about what it takes to have your story told, and I want to help be a voice in how minorities--whether based on ethnicity, gender, religion, social status, etc--are represented in mainstream media today.
