Yan Zhu

Yan is a Chinese girl who was born in Beijing. She got her bachelor of law at Beijing Technology and Business University. After graduated, she got her MBA at the University of Quebec in Three - Rrivers and immigrant to Canada.

During her study period, she worked as a law clerk at Chaoyang District court in Beijing, cashier at a grocery store in Montreal and a waitress at a Thai restaurant in Vancouver. She can speak Mandarin, English and French. She's good at Chinese law, cashiering and customer service.

She is passionate about traveling, dogs, drawing, cooking and baking. She thinks the meaning of life is to experience new things. Traveling is a good way to widen her life. Travelling can broaden her vision, get a feel for different cultures and taste many styles of cuizine. She is a dog lover. She has a 13 year old dachshund and she's willing to get some volunteer chances to rrescue the homeless dogs. She learnt drawing for 3 years when she was in elementary school. That training developed her aesthetic consciousness. She loves creation. When she cooks and bakes, she feels her heart exploding with joy and passion. And it feels fantastic to put her energy into something that makes people around her happy.

Now that she has moved from Montreal to Vancouver. She is pursuing her dream at the Baking & Pastry Arts program at Vancouver Community College. She wants to find a job related to baking after getting her Baking Certificate in Sept. 2014. In the lab, she is curious, energetic, artistic, independent and creative. She can make many kinds of cookies, biscuits, scones and bread during four months study. She always wants to try new recipes to find better flavors and creat new designs to make the products more attractive.
