My name is Cathy. Just Cathy...with a C though...not a K. I've been told that it sounds different. ;-) I consider myself a simple human being, one who just wants to enjoy life, and be happy with the ones around me. I am a sucker for crafts. Seriously, who isn't?? I find it eases my mind and lets me escape to somewhere peaceful, and I can just create. I started out with scrapbooking, and I still do that. However, a friend of mine got me started on jewelry making and I have come to LOVE it so much that I want to share my creations with others. I intend to open an Etsy shop in the near future to sell these creations of mine. I had no idea how much work it truly is to start this venture, but its exciting to me. First of all, I had to come up with a name. How hard can it be right? Wrong. Every name I thought of had been taken, and this got me very frustrated. Finally after alot of searching and thinking, I came up with what I think is a GREAT name. This is where ZinniaSpot comes in. You see, I lost my father suddenly almost two years ago already, and not a day goes by that I don't think of him. He and I shared a great love for flowers, and while growing up I always remembered him planting zinnias and how I liked to touch the beautiful blooms with my hands. This name makes me smile. This name makes me happy. This name makes me hopeful. For that, I am happy. So here is to my "Etsy Journey" as I am calling it. I hope its a good one!
