Ziyaan Sikandar

Hey there, I’m Ziyaan Sikandar. I’m an entrepreneur, business professional, and lifelong learner with a strong interest in international business, financial services, and building businesses that create lasting value. My journey has been shaped by a combination of education, professional experience, entrepreneurship, and, perhaps most importantly, a genuine desire to keep learning and evolving.

My academic journey began at Roots International School, where I developed the foundation that would later shape my professional ambitions. I went on to pursue an MBA with a focus on International Business at King’s College London, an experience that broadened my perspective on global markets, business strategy, leadership, and the way organizations operate across different cultures and economies.

Today, I am focused on entrepreneurship and run my own company, White Rock Financial Services Ltd., a firm specializing in financial services and audit. The company operates across the United Kingdom and Singapore, giving me the opportunity to work in an international environment and engage with businesses and professionals from different backgrounds.

Running a company has been a journey of its own. Entrepreneurship has taught me that success is not simply about having a good idea or building a business; it is about consistency, responsibility, adaptability, and the ability to make decisions when the path ahead is not always clear. I enjoy the challenges that come with building and managing a business, developing relationships, solving problems, and continuously looking for ways to improve.

For me, professionalism is closely connected with trust. In financial services and audit, people place significant confidence in the professionals they work with, and I believe that integrity, transparency, attention to detail, and a long-term approach are essential to building strong professional relationships. My goal is to create an environment where clients and partners feel that they are working with someone who understands their objectives and is genuinely invested in helping them move forward.

While my professional life is an important part of who I am, it certainly isn’t the whole story.

I’m a family-oriented person and value the relationships and people who matter most in life. I believe that no matter how busy professional life becomes, there should always be time for family, friends, meaningful conversations, and the simple moments that make life enjoyable.

I’m also naturally straightforward and blunt. I prefer honesty over unnecessary formality and believe that clear communication is usually better than saying what people simply want to hear. I appreciate people who are genuine, direct, and comfortable being themselves, and I try to bring the same authenticity to my own relationships and interactions.

Outside of business, I enjoy working out, reading, and watching movies. Working out keeps me disciplined and gives me a way to step away from the demands of work, while reading allows me to continue learning and exploring new ideas. Movies, on the other hand, are one of the ways I like to unwind and simply enjoy some downtime.

Ultimately, I believe life should be about ambition and enjoyment in equal measure. Building a career and a business is important to me, but so is making time to experience life, spend time with the people I care about, pursue personal interests, and enjoy the journey along the way.

I’m someone who is ambitious about the future but grounded in the values that have shaped me. I enjoy taking on challenges, meeting new people, learning from different experiences, and finding opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.

My journey is still evolving, and that is what makes it exciting. I look forward to continuing to build businesses, develop meaningful professional relationships, explore new opportunities, and, most importantly, enjoy the journey while doing it.
