Ziyavudin Magomedov

From 1994–1998, Ziyavudin Magomedov served as the president of IFK-Interfinance and was later elected the company’s Chairman of the board. From 2002–2005, he was Chairman of the Fоundation Council of the Support Fund for the Dialog Program and served on the boards of directors of Trans-Oil and First Ore Mining Company.
He is a trustee of the Russian Olympic Support Foundation and a member of the boards of trustees for the Bolshoi Theater and the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography.
On July 1, 2010, Mr. Magomedov was appointed by President Medvedev to serve as the representative of the Russian Federation on the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) for 2010–2012. In November 2010, he was appointed Co-chairman of ABAC for 2011 and Chairman of ABAC for 2012.
Awarded the Order of Friendship (2010), the Russian Federation Presidential Certificate of Honour (2012) for his contribution to the restoration of the Bolshoi Theatre, and the Order of Honour (2012). He is a member of the Skolkovo Foundation Council and Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC).
In June 2012, he joined the Council for Economic Modernisation and Innovative Development of Russia operating directly under the President of the Russian Federation.
In 1994, Ziyavudin Magomedov graduated from the Department of Economics of Moscow State University with a degree in international economics. He earned a PhD in international economics in 2000 from Moscow State University.
