As a ham, the highlight for me would have been given the opportunity to live on Pitcairn Island and operate under the call VP6TD. That was my trip of a life time and a chance to meet some special people, Dave VP6DB and Miralda VP6MW.
I enjoy Digital modes, rag chewing and am trying to boost my interest in CW.
As is anything in life, we all have a trip and stumble for me this was when I started a long and difficult walk with “The Black Dog” I am still walking with this beast from hell. The upside is that I am in control and know what the ugly signs are when it is trying to take over.
I have a number of hobbies that all work into together. I am a keen 4x4 off roader, Fishing and anything else that is involved with the outdoors.
I have two sayings in life.
1. No matter what life throws your way, there is always someone a lot worse off
2. Life is not measured by the falls we take, but rather by how we get back up from them.
