After several years as a Business Development Manager developing skills in sales and marketing, I returned to full time education in 2010, where I studied science at undergraduate level to earn my BSc degree in Biomedical Science.During the period I spent in full time education, I was diagnosed with a chronic illness, for which I have limited treatment options. During long periods of sickness, I discovered I had a passion and a talent for writing, something which I hope I can develop into a career as a science writer and editor. I now currently practice honing my writing skills in blog format. My jewellery and fashion blog can be found on Wordpress under the domain Beaufoujewellerybox. I am currently in the process of building a website for people who suffer chronic pain as a result of illness, where I aim to interpret new scientific research relevant to diseases such as MS, ME, Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus. My goal is to provide relevant information and support to help improve the quality of life for those living with these debilitating conditions.
