When our school decided to start the IB Prep and STEM class, I didn't know what to think of it. I didn't know what we were going to do in that class or what the use of it was, but being in the class has helped me learn a lot more about resources and ideas that we have access to in life. In our IB Prep and STEM class, I have learned many things such as making and editing movies, how to create a website like this one, and what it means to be an IB Learner. So far this year, we have completed a variety of projects. One of my favorite projects is a more recent project called The Great American No Bull Challenge where we had to get in a group and film a movie about the awareness of cyber bullying. This was one of my favorite projects because researching information about cyber bullying has made me more aware about the affects cyber bullying really has on people. It can be a difficult process to film and edit movies, but in the end, you get to see what you have achieved over the time of making the movie. This is an IB class because I think it has made me more knowledgeable about the world and I think it has taught me that if I put my mind to it, I can accomplish great things and achieve my goals.
