I was born in the SF Bay Area . I developed the skills and talents to explore my work interests of partnering with external customers to ensure their success in technology by pursuing my passion to give back to the community and helped develop my qualities of hard work, determination, and resiliency.

In the course of my earlier education, technology helped me succeed and I taught myself new skills. I became an empathetic leader in helping the other students and teachers learn to use this technology and I developed my appreciation of diversity.

In high school, I gained new leadership skills by joining the Student Council and was elected Vice President. At graduation, I was awarded a special Tech Support Award.

I attended Clark University in Worcester, MA, and was awarded the Making a Difference Scholarship for demonstrating outstanding commitment and leadership in community engagement and social justice. Throughout college, I volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club, Worcester Community Television, and the Worcester Senior Center.

During my time there, I was the president and programming director of the Film Production Society and was in charge of managing budgets, purchasing equipment, and upgrades.

After graduating I came back to California and worked on a political campaign. I got a job at Enchanted Hills Camp, a program of the Lighthouse for the Blind, to be a counselor of children and adults with visual and other more significant disabilities. Next, I got a job working as a lift operator and customer service employee at Northstar California and was also able to volunteer with Achieve Tahoe, an organization that helps veterans and others with disabilities ski.

I started my retail career at Whole Foods Market as a cashier and was quickly promoted to a key holder position and troubleshooting issues and trained others. I opened the first Amazon Go stores in San Francisco and after opening the first store, I opened five more stores working about 80 hours a week. At every position, I have received multiple achievements and awards including the Employee of the Month.

My last job was working as a Court Processing Specialist at the Marin County Superior Court and this job used minimal computer technology. It was clear to me that I want to pursue a career where tech is used. I was laid off due to state budget cuts from COVID-19.

Finally, after looking for jobs and other training programs to help me find a career that matches my abilities and skills, I found Climb Hire.
