Zoie Palmer

Zoie Palmer was born in Wiltshire, England but moved with her family to Canada when she was nine. In 2001 she earned her B.F.A from York University in Toronto, Ontario.

Acting since 2002 she has appeared in several TV series and can be seen currently as Dr. Lauren Lewis on the internationally beloved Showcase series Lost Girl.

Film roles include the romantic comedy The Untitled Work of Paul Shepard (with fellow Lost Girl actor Kris Holden-Ried), for which she received a 2011 ACTRA Award nomination for Outstanding Female Performance, the crime thriller Cold Blooded, for which she was awarded the Gold Medallion Acting Award for Best Actress in a Feature Film by the 2012 Bare Bones International Film Festival, and the ensemble comedy Sex After Kids, again joined by Lost Girl co-star Kris Holden-Ried and Paul Amos.
